- Take photos of the scene and the vehicles involved.
- Exchange information with the other driver.
- Unless you are taken by the paramedics, do not leave the scene until the police arrive.
- Cooperate with the authorities.
- Ask the police for the case number.
- Seek medical attention immediately if you notice injuries after you leave the scene of the crash.
- Call a lawyer.
